videographer my video was my favorite thing from that day I can relive it also cocktail hour! skip day of cordinaior do a weeding planner fully or just pick a competent person to follow you all the way through knowing your vision my day of coordinator jumped in and did not get the vision my bridesmaids turned into the boss

I’m glad I threw out the normal wedding ideas and did what I actually wanted! Don’t feel pressured to do what social media normalizes. Also I save a lot of money by getting my cake from Publix, they do beautiful wedding cakes. Also I diy all florals, I bought all my flowers bulk from Costco. Also READ REVIEWS from vendors and make sure to get contracts

We did a couple note cards on each table for the people sitting at those tables to fill out and predict where we will be at each anniversary (table 1 = 1st year, table 2 = 2nd year) it’s just something to look forward to each year and take you back to that day! If this doesn’t make sense I can send a voice note heeh

I’m glad that I got my whole wedding planned in 1 month LITERALLY! it’s going to feel like a lot at first by take it email by email, meeting by meeting. My wedding isn’t till next October. Now it’s time to enjoy my engagement. Don’t take the full year to year and a half planning your wedding. That’s going to make it worse

for my friends' weddings, we passed a camcorder around throughout the night. dance floor, talking to people at tables, etc. amazing candid moments and feels nostalgic looking back at the footage

I got married on the 12th and so far have no regrets! Something I did I loved: my husband and I walked to a nearby park the morning of the wedding and read our vows to each other rather than at the ceremony. I’m so glad I did because we bawled our eyes out 😭😂 I also bought cheap napkins and used our new envelope embosser to embossed the napkins. It was a simple way to personalize something ❤️

Future bride 2026- i am only allowing myself so much time a week to work on wedding stuff or to allow it to take up my mind, this way i don’t over obsess, i only put time into the things that truly matter !

Im so excited to do super 8 at mine! My friend is going to record it all and take iPhone pics for the candids! Something that I’m happy that I’m doing is not being traditional! I’m doing what I want- no bouquet toss/garter/first dance. I just want it to be stress free!
