Agreed. Going up a size can keep your muffin top from showing. A bigger shirt and hide your rolls. It really benefits you in the end.

Sizes aren’t like they were back in the day either. I’m 5’2 125 lbs & even mediums can fit like an xs/s. They don’t get the irony that not wearing your size makes you look 10x BIGGER 😭

I think in some cases, it’s the approach . Some people could think they’re coming off as helpful and it’s just not perceived that way some people are a holes about stuff and not even meaning to be and some people are just extra sensitive about that topic, which is completely understandable
