@derchrist_: I had been in depression for at least four months already. For a long time I felt nothing but loneliness. I was simply alone and needed by no one. I was being eaten up inside by a sense of emptiness, and the only thing I did, apart from going to school, was lie on my bed in complete darkness. But about a month after it began, I decided to learn a little about Christianity, it was the only thing that sparked any interest in me. I was inspired by a short video on YouTube, I don’t remember what it was called, but it had comforting passages from the Bible, and… well, I really liked it. I realized that I mattered to Someone, that my feelings were not ignored. And so, a few weeks ago I went to an Orthodox church in my city (my mother, by the way, did not approve of this, since she is a Jehovah’s Witness), and there I felt calmer than usual. It’s quite a strange feeling, I still feel sadness and fear, and I’m still rather depressed, but now I feel much calmer and, you could say, happier. #christianity #jesus #depressedtiktok #☦️
