No because kids spend there whole childhood, waking up at god knows what time. Spends over 6 hours at school. Only to go home do homework, then go to bed because they have school the next day. Have maybe only an hour of free time before that to go to bed. Then they have to repeat that 5 days a week. Then they only get 2 days off before going back to school again. They have to repeat that every week. They only get a week off, maybe two, every few months. They deserve a long break especially in the summer holidays. I wouldn’t want to be in a classroom in weather like this. Learning the rubbish they teach. Especially with the weather getting hotter and hotter each year. I get that they need to prepare for adulthood, but they are children. They deserve to actually have fun and have an actual childhood. You only live once. It’s already bad enough that they spend 12 years of their life in a pointless place like school. Like half the knowledge I learned in school, I forgot. And have I needed most of that knowledge in adulthood so far? No. Why not teach kid how to pay rent, get a job, write a CV. I am 19. And I still don’t know how to do that. But it’s okay, I learned algebra instead 🤦♀️Like honestly let kids have the last ounce of freedom they have left. Let them explore, let them find their dreams, let them live. Rather than stuffing them all into a toxic environment like school during the summer.

adults shouldn't have an opinion on this, they had 6 weeks, if not longer. And the oldies had enough time off during the war. Education has gotten more difficult since they've been in school, the wont understand and they should NOT have a say in this whatsoever
