Capcom's favoritism for the long sword and their absurd power made people believe that the game is easy, and by increasing the difficulty so much, they ruin the experience for the rest of the weapons that have no ways to defend or attack comfortably.

I wouldnt say it got the "most love", literally every weapon got so much love in wilds, its more so just the most overtuned weapon. I main swaxe but play all weapons, and insect glaive is what I use when I want to speedrun because the output is just incomparable because of the rising slash

Rise/ Sunbreak had the best Glaive mechanics hands down. I still love it tho but it just doesn't have that same flow.

idk i fucking love all the new shit with all the weapons i use. this games combat is great they just need to add something like the wire bug or hunter arts in the dlc
