Same here. This is going to be totally opposite of what you kinda said in your video, but honestly getting away from social media (as i write this now haha). But actually practicing putting away my phone in another room or burying it in my dresser so i am forced to do something else, like journal, or even simply just sit outside and watch trees (sounds so boring, but idk i like it). I find that by enjoying a slow life, means slowing my brain down too which often comes from being more present in my actual setting without media distractions. I like reading books, and engaging my brain with meaningful topics, but that can vary from person to person. I guess ideally, utilzing this slow boring phase of working on patience. I’ve noticed that I am a lot more in my head now, dont know if that’s good or bad, but i handle that by being curious of whatever i may be thinking of (i tend to be a weird spontaneous thinker) which is where my journaling comes in to explore myself.

i’m really trying to force myself to start/come back to old hobbies. i realized i’ve been literally only studying and going to the gym for months like quite literally with nothing else.
