I know just how you feel. I lost my mom in January of this year. Grief is so hard sometimes & can hit you out of nowhere. Like you said, hug your parents if you can. You never know when it will be the last time you see them 💔

Give yourself grace for grieving. In the last four years, my whole entire family disowned me because I married my husband, I had skin cancer, and got pancreatic cancer. My own mother told me it was because I wasn’t right with God. Grieving happens fairly regularly. But I do want to say you have been a light for me.
