Had to go do a ct w contrast today because my d dimer levels came back abnormal and one of the nurses I had to begin was looking at my file an then gonna tell me your to young to have a dnr and going about how ludicrous to her that I was able to get my papers certified and seal I as nicely as I could said to the other nurse that I would like for another nurse to take place.

I’d call and ask to speak to the head of nursing. Make it clear as day, you need morning appointments. Can you ask for a specific time? If so tell them you want your nurse there by 10AM or whatever time works best for you on a daily basis.

my home health nurse always calls the night before letting me know what time. I'm curious how come they can't change your dressing while fluids are running?

yeah it’s unfortunately so common, it rly sucks. i can’t handle change at all, and relying on a nurse for dressing changes for over a yr was so overwhelming

Like yes I was only there for a ct with contrast but atp I didn’t feel comfortable being in her care bc as a medically complex human a simple ct can go south 😒😬

Sometimes it’s the nurse and sometimes it’s the company. There are a lot of other pressures that we are not aware of, like when did that nurse even find out about your case. But you are absolutely correct with our time being valuable and should be respect
