So sad. I am a 💯% unfettered 2A advocate, BUT gun ownership comes with strict personal accountability and responsibility, especially when there are children living in the home. These types of "accidents" are so avoidable. Complacency has no place in any home where firearms are kept.

I got mad at my ex husband for leaving his gun next to the side bed table and and saw my 5 yr son with it . This happened 3 times. I knew I wanted a divorce at that point. He still a police officer… he put it in save box but for laziness he wouldn’t put it away. This could have been my son
