I had the great idea to get my 15 year old cat a kitten. The kitten was so good with not f-ing with him but he soooo clearly wanted to play. I ended up getting another kitten his age a couple months later who is a perfect match to both their personalities. Best decision I could have made! All my boys are so happy now

I know this is somewhat minor, but my veterinary science teacher mentioned it is best to say "spaying/neutering" vs "fixing", as "fixing" has negative implications.

I have a girl cat that’s 3 that is the lazier type that loves cuddles on her terms and the humane society said she “doesn’t like other cats” (had her before I met my bf) but my bf who is moving in with me in a few months has a male cat that is about 1 year who’s energetic and LOVES attention all the time. I am NERVOUS

As someone who hasn’t had cats in forever and just adopted two bonded 5 month old munchkins, you have helped us so much! Our rescue did not share a whole lot so we learned the 3-3-3 rule from you and it saved us! I have learned so much from your videos. it's been 5 months since I adopted my 2 adult cats. We are finally in our routine. One is 14 and one is 3. If my male wasn't chill then it wouldn't of worked because the 14 year old is very cranky, she's been through a lot. I will admit that I did most of everything wrong but I've learned.

At what age would you recommend not getting a kitten for your cat? Or is it 100% based on personality? My cats are 5 and loved being played with and wrestle occasionally but I would say 75% of the time they’re sleeping.

We picked up our 2nd based on the fact he has a similar personality to our 1st. We didnt isolate but he did have his own box, food, and water dish in our onsuite bathroom so he could have his own space but still roam the house if he wanted. It did take 2-3 months for them to get along but now they’re besties.

We just fostered our first ever round of kittens and Loofah (my resident 5 yr old cat) was not a fan of them. He seemed to like watching them when they were contained but didn’t like them to have the opportunity to touch him.
