I disagree with this tie in. If someone is saved - they are saved forever. Mathew 7 refers to those who appealed to their works alone. Hebrews 12 tells what will happen to a Christian in rebellion living in sin.

Purely out of curiosity, isn’t this directly what He says not to do in Ephesians 4:29, Romans 12:14 and James 3:9-10? I’m not saying this out of permissiveness or to be a certain way, I have been genuinely confused and would like some understanding if someone can explain it?

Jesus died on the cross for our sins he did something that we didn't or could have done we had feeling he was a human he was scared worried what would happen but he rose from the dead 3 days later we should appreciate what Jesus did for us on the cross so repent from your sins turn your face to God believe in him he is our father he loves everyone equally ( spread the gospel before it's to late) Amen 🙏Who am to judge another, when I myself am an imperfect man" -Luke 6:37 also 1st John 1:9 "If we confess our sin, he is faithful, and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"

You can not earn your way into heaven. By faith are you saved through faith. The devil believes in God but he is not repentant. It is by faith and repentance we become saved
