I’m a 73yo native Miamian and I remember when I was a kid we loved playing outside right before a hurricane hit. It was always so cool and breezy. Unfortunately afterwards it was hot as hell.

People say the weather is nice before but I find the weather after decent. It makes have no a/c bearable. Well if u sit outside, inside is like hell. I remember sitting on the lawn enjoying lunch watching the helicopters fly by after Katrina.

the most rude is when we're projected for a hurricane on a Friday, but then thursday we have major flooding from a different storm, and then Friday is beautiful and the hurricane disappears or redirects
