Honestly, I’ve seen a lot about this topic, and I’d like to share my point of view. I don’t think the guy was entirely wrong, because the whole purpose of the show is to meet people. After all, it’s a dating show, and neither of them had been in a relationship before. It’s understandable that they were a bit confused. His mind was saying one thing, but his heart didn’t feel it. He even admitted they weren’t on the same page. The only real mistake he made was not being honest about it sooner.

So true, like now I fully get why he’s still single. If he can’t express his feelings properly and just love-bombs a girl without being honest, that’s a walking red flag. It’s okay to change your mind but the fact that he was constantly telling her she was the only one and essentially love bombing her was so uncool. He should have tried to get to know her personally instead of trying to get her hooked to him without knowing each other

They only started going on dates after ep. 5...he had few dates with Yi-do because he actually wanted to give her a fair chance but at the end he reaöised that she does not fit his criteria. I dont know why yall are hating when the purpose of this show is to find your partner. If Seung-li wouldnt have rejected her, she wouldnt have chased Yeon-mok after all...

One thing I'm gonna say, J only feels pity for Jiyeon….he doesn't love her... It's just pity. He said he started having feelings for her when they talked on that date, that was also when Joyeon told him aside from him she doesn't have any other guy she wants to talk to…and he felt sad..then she spoke about her family then he was more sad and felt she needs a man. He thinks he can save her and treat her better…also I think Jiyeon intentionally spoke of her abuse just to get that reaction from him.. I'm not neglecting her trauma..its just was a way too perfect timing 🤦♀️

His focus is entirely on the person he currently likes, and even though he’s not that interested in Yido, he still reassures her that she’s his number one and that he wouldn’t talk to other girls. However, his actions tell a different story he doesn’t pay attention to Yido at all and can’t even make eye contact with her he pmo so bad. He should just honestly say that they’re not vibing anymore. If he’s changed his mind, it’s better to be upfront about it. His love bombing is really sad I would cry my eyes out too if I were Yido. She deserves sm better than this I'm honestly done with the show I need a therapist.

Okay but I’m convinced that this is evil editing because he mentioned before that him and jiyeon were helping each other out and growing their friendship but we didn’t get any content of the day 1-4 I think that’s what makes it seem so abrupt and confusing but I think they intentionally focused only on when he was mentioning yi-do as his top choice just to trigger viewers more when he shifted his top choice

I have the impression, from what we've watched that the first time they properly talked, was when he realized it wasn't going to work. From the moment he figured out she's from a different upbringing, when it comes to education, financial status etc... and how important that would be if they had a relationship, it was a NO to him. The problem is, he didn't had the courage to actually be sincere and tell her the truth, if he did it would be better for both of them.
