For years now, I’ve been unraveling the language of my body. Learning how it likes to move, where it holds tension, where it hides grief. I began this journey when I realized just how deeply the body remembers…. how emotions and memories don’t just pass through us… they stay, woven into muscle, fascia, bone. And movement. Movement became my rebellion. My ritual. My return. It’s how I tell my body: You are safe now. You are free to release what once had to be held. Somatics opened me to the idea that the body and spirit aren’t separate. It’s reflection. A mirror. When my physical form is aligned, I feel the energy flow with less resistance. The chaos stills. The noise softens. And something ancient and wise in me exhales. Inner harmony isn’t some lofty concept… it’s the moment my nervous system stops bracing. It’s quiet. It’s spacious. It’s a homecoming. Even through illness and trauma, my body has never truly abandoned me. It deserves reverence. It deserves to be met. These days, I find my way back through intuitive movement, cold water, deep pressure, walking barefoot, breathwork, dance. Not to fix myself, but to feel myself. To let the fractured parts rejoin. And if you’ve felt disconnected from your body… if you’ve lived mostly in your head, or out of sync with your skin… know this: You can come home. Start small. Lie down. Breathe. Hum. Let your body speak. When it does, follow the sound of your own becoming. Movement is medicine. And your body is not the enemy. It is the altar. #somatichealing #movementismedicine #takebackyourpower #bodymindconnection #spiritualalchemy
