It's honestly one of the most player focused games I've seen and I love it. Even when you fail, its fun, how the hell do they do that😅

I think cause games like repo and schedule one were actually so much fun that people now look past graphics and just want good simple fun games so they gave this one a chance.

the appeal is SO WIDE. It attracts casual gamers, as the tenderfoot difficulty is phenomenal for just casually chatting with friends while playing. It attracts speedrunners, as the mechanics are simple and ripe for exploitation. It attracts completionists as the achievements are varied but fair

because it's hilarious and generally you go in blind and sometimes there's one friend there introducing everyone to it who has no idea what's going on. who is being like the dungeon master of the experience and making sure it's as wacky and crazy as possible. Plus there's all the slapstick explosions and falling and mishaps and the fact that it is cooperative and the characters are cute

I have 110 hours in the game already. For me, I am not someone who is good at gaming, but I am able to get good at the game by learning the route (playing 3+ times per day) and the map changes daily. You can play solo or w groups and they made it easier for those without friends by making and regulating a discord to find players

Multiplayer games are the shit right now, games that you could play with friends that have easy to get mechanics without much story with lots of replayability, you have one clear goal that friends help each other and accomplish while having fun. It also appeals to everyone, new gamers, solo gamers, speed runners, friend groups, and uses a really fun stylized world with quirky characters you can customize to your liking while also having open mic physics that are pretty funny, people connect their friends with the actual characters in game and get to express themselves with tons of emotion. That's the reason I believe that Peak is such a success.
