I live 3 minutes from my son, daughter in law and grandkids - and we have a great respectful relationship too. I can’t imagine it being otherwise because my family is everything to me. 🥰

My daughter in law and son are divorced but she is still treated as equal to my own children. When our son left her we made it clear that our relationship would stay the same with her. He was divorcing her not me and my husband.
