Plot twist: - The amulet makes you're will power stronger and makes you resolute. - The curse makes you think you are doing the opposite to what you do. - So normaly, you do evil, but you think you do good. But in his case, he thinks he finaly does evil things, but in reality, does good.

What he is missing is bad by whose perspective? Robin Hood was the bad guy to those he stole from and fought but was a hero to others. Plenty of people out there will call you evil and wrong simply because you don't condone their actions. So you can absolutely choose kindness and be an evil wizard in someone's story
