it's really sad, the amount of people, that don't understand that you can be both a game sportsman and a conservationist. like yes, I go fishing but I also can't stand when people throw there water or catch and waste fish, just for the sake of being lazy

Real fishermen wouldn’t want the fish to suffer and die if the goal is to release it.. unless they’re taking it to eat.. idk if ppl eat bass I’m no fisherman.. nor weatherman but I digress if they’re REAL fishermen they would want the fish to flourish and get bigger for next time.

I accidentally killed a baby shark last week and it’s still bothering me. Caught it while surfing fishing the OBX. Released it, but hook was deep and worried I hurt it getting it out. Found it dead on shore next morning.

Hang on a second, so you’re saying it hurts the bass to hold it by the lip because it will dislocate/break its jaw but what about the whole part where your fighting it with a hook in its lip and putting a ton of tension on the line … 🤔
