Yesterday was my scariest day as parent in almost 14 years… but thank God he showed up in such a real & might way. All glory to Him 🙌🏽 It was a long, heavy day — one of those where you don’t realize you’re holding your breath until it’s over. Boston slept in unusually late and when he finally woke up, something just felt off. He was pale, completely out of it, barely able to keep his eyes open… and then suddenly started projectile vomiting. I called the doctor to schedule an appointment, but the nurse on the line quickly said, “You need to get to the ER—now.” At the pediatric ER, everything moved fast. They started fluids, ran tons of labs, and told us his blood sugar was dangerously low (45), and his blood count was double what a high level should be for a toddler. The next step? An ambulance ride to the hospital an hour from home for admission and a lumbar puncture before transferring him. My heart sank. We’d been praying over him the whole time but I felt the need for us to pray audibly. And just after signing the papers for the procedure… something shifted He woke up from a deep sleep, asked for six snacks (classic Boss 🤍), and color started returning to his face. The doctor was stunned by the sudden shift. They gave him more fluids, monitored him closely — and before we knew it, he was cleared to go home. But what got me most? Before discharging us, the doctor turned and asked, “Would it be okay if I prayed over him with you?” Cue the tears. 🥹 What started as one of the scariest mornings ended in answered prayers, a little boy full of life, and a reminder that God still performs miracles — right in the middle of our ordinary chaos. While I wish I had answers, I’m currently basking in His goodness and healing hand over our sweet boy
