I do think school vs practical real time employment is always different. Especially when you take into consideration that so many students are working, juggling normal family life, balancing personal life, and then *demanding* accelerated programs. That’s why so many people have “crash outs”. It is the in between chaos before being back to normal. Because once you’re in your field, you aren’t balancing a program on top of everything else. You’re working and living “normal”.

I hated nursing school. It literally drained me. I love my job as a nurse. There is a huge difference between actually working on the floor as a nurse and nursing school.
