@fromdreamtoseed: To prune or not to prune? Pruning tomatoes can help with disease prevention and increase the size of tomatoes. However, pruning too much can stress the plant and decrease yields in some plants. Every garden is different! How do you prune your homegrown tomatoes? #gardening #gardentips #vegetablegarden #tomatoes #pruning
I do a mix! I cut the leaves off all the way to the last fruiting branch that's producing fruit. I also prune suckers and sometimes I don't. I say do whatever works for your garden!

This is my first year growing indeterminate tomatoes, last year I don’t remember what I grew, but my yellow pear tomato plant is about a foot taller than I am so I pruned today just to add airflow because there’s over 30 tomatoes growing on it lol

Great explanation! I lost some of my flowers to heat so I did not prune some of my suckers that had flowers on them. I’m hoping it helps recoup some of the flowers I lost. We’ll see.

Why did I think suckers don’t produce fruit?! I could’ve sworn I’ve seen people talk about that on here
