Unpopular opinion. BDSP is by far the best game on the switch. It’s the only one that feels finished besides Let’s go. Playing it was the first time on the switch I felt like I did back when Gen 5 and earlier released. The newer games are sacrificing literally everything just to have overworld Pokemon.

I know this game isn’t perfect but I love it. I was alive when diamond pearl platinum came out. I also remember the craze when gold and silver remakes came out

My biggest issue is that for a “remade” game; the definitive version, it didn’t have the objectively better Platinum dex

It’s up there with Let’s Go and PLA for being the most enjoyable, but largely that’s due to Sinnoh being great. If not for the battle changes, PLA would be easy #1 for me

When I finally got the DS sounds item and turned that on, I sobbed. It felt like I was 8 again playing Pokémon Pearl for the first time.

I’ll give BDSP credit we’re it’s due, if you want to EV train gen 1-gen 4!pkm I choose this game. Grinding for money is so easy, I ev train & breed pkm so fast in this game, what would take about a few hrs in another I do in BDSP in 20mins tops

I literally am doing a shiny only run right now. I forgot how much fun these are. It’s like the old games but more modernized. I really enjoyed a lot of the music as well.

I understand it’s not perfect but I am a sinner region guy for life. I literally remember when the OG games came out. Also, I still love the gold and silver games as well as black and white and ask and why even if people don’t like it but sinnoh is always my place. 🥺🥰
