As an incoming sophomore I would recommend: Binder, dividers, folder, notebook paper, pencils,highlighters, pens, colored pencils, sticky notes, and index cards

Graduate senior for me I didn’t need all that but then again every school/teacher and class is different advice is bring around maybe 2-3 notebooks and pencils and highlight to highlight key points in the syllabus usually the first few days you’re going kinda over the syllabus and how the teacher’s grade system is in some classes they will required to have a specific calculator (math) or just a specific notebooks for that class and sometimes they do google docs notes

as a rising sophomore id recommend folders more than binders because i find that some teachers dont hole punch the papers and its so much easier to just grab out a folder than to get a whole binder out

Please do not get those type of binders. I recommend getting like just notebooks or folders because, most of my teachers that graded the notebook didn’t want different subjects to be mixed in
