@sandwichesofhistory: Pearl Onion Sandwich (1918) on Sandwiches of History Leave it Florida Salads from 1918 to have a sandwich that features cocktail onions. That’s right the main ingredient in the Pearl Onion Sandwich is pickled pearl onions. But, it also has lettuce, mayonnaise, and, of course, butter. So, might not be too shabs. #fyp #sandwichesofhistory

That seems weak. How often do you have leftover pearl onions? I'll just halve them and put them on a frozen pizza. 😄

Pickled onions, cucumber slices, cream cheese! Season to taste. Easy snack sammich you can make 10s or 100s of for a hootenanny. Cut the crust off the loaf to make it schmancy.

Swiss cheese and the grilled cheese treatment, maybe that’d be cheating as a plus up but it’d be good

I think I wanted arugula instead of lettuce? The lack of music does make it easier to listen to.
