Also the continuous transmission. Gas cars have 5-8 shifts which is familiar

i have motion sickness and i never got sick in my dads 90s subaru but every time i get into a smooth modern car i fight for my life to not puke all over the place

yeah my friend took me for a spin in his Tesla Plaid and i didn't like it one bit. first off when he hit the pedal it felt like an elevator crash. no warning, no vibration and we're going 60mph in a parking lot no less. i just wanted to get out of that thing. not fun not comfortable.

the 'one pedal drive' mode is a big contributor to this. If you let the car roll even after aggressive acceleration, it feels like any other car

Rolls-Royce have known about this for a while. One generation of the Phantom was supposed to be so quiet, you could hear a pin drop on the plush carpets. But unfortunately, people were getting motion sickness. Their solution? remove some of the sound deadening.

Took me about 5 minutes to adapt to my F150 lightning. I absolutely love 1 pedal driving and that's the only way I drive it. So much nicer to drive that a gas vehicle.
