Because the whole point of the song is to take down the demons (including Saja Boys). But Rumi is one of them. She can't go past the patterns part because over time, her patterns grows more every time she talks or sings anything linked to her identity that the duo will notice sooner if not resolved (which they noticed it sadly). Can't go past here, can't spoil the whole story.

I’m surprised no one brings up the costumes. Their Golden costumes, the black is the most prominent color, showing that they’re still hiding who they are. With TIWISL, their costumes transform to white, showing that they’re transparent and accepting who they are. It’s most obvious in the Takedown concert scene

I think people fail to realize that the song is indeed REALLY full of hate and like, every other song we were shown of them isn't as hateful as takedown, not that that's the only reason btw I just think people skip that fact a lot, you can tell the dissonance by comparing golden to takedown they lowkey give the opposite message lol
