Some horses enjoy it, some don’t. Can also depend a lot on the breed kinda like huskies vs pugs if that makes sense

horse girl here bestieeee — i never did all that. i mainly did jumping and fun trail rides but horses have been used for centuries to help bring supplies / aid in rough terrain. for fun??? idk bout that lol. i def believe there’s limits for the horses

Depends on the horse. Ideally it’s a partnership not a dictatorship. You love to paint, but if someone was forcing you to keep painting after you were done it’d be abusive. If they kept you away from painting when thats your passion would also be abusive. Communication, balance, and respect is essential to keeping everyone happy and healthy

Like with most animals some animal parents are better than others. Some horses aren’t built for that, but others are built to work and form a bond. But it does go deep, like natives used to have horses too, still do. But they used to rely on them more heavily for transportation and saftey. They formed a strong bond with them as well. I always thought it was funny they are sort of like big dogs.

Depends on the breed, training, and honestly if their hooves are built for it! Like a cow pony for example, their hooves don’t necessarily need up keep with a farrier and horse shoes aren’t a necessity since they can handle rougher ground! (I miss the cow pony I got to ride, he name was Hannah) also cow ponies aren’t actually like a miniature, they are usually around 14 hands!

Some horses are working breeds and really enjoy it, some don't, they're truly basically big fuck off sized dogs with the same amount of personality/skill/temperament variety 🤣
