Nah it’s just that OG has been neglected by epic and they refuse to fix the bugs and problems with the mode like bots (which do not need to be in the mode at all)

For the first take stretches res was removed bc console players couldn’t use it and that it was a competitive advantage with you being able to see more. Thats why you saw people running 1080x1080. Yes you can do it now but it’s not the same as before.

stretch res was a huge advantage because you have more fov and the vast majority of players are console players. console players make up like 70% of all fortnite players with pc only being around 20%

It was the constant shit gun changes each season and constant annoying BS that added to the game that could be easily abused that ruined the game for me ill take the simplicity of chapter 1 season 3 everyday of the week

If nostalgia and limited exposure is what draws you to a gamemode, OG or otherwise, then it's more indicative of the fact that early Fortnite wasn't as exciting as everyone hyped it up to be. That's completely fine if you're honest about it, but this constant conversation online about how Fortnite peaked at seasons 4-7 and nothing has come close to it is just unrealistic
