I hear that I’m not a real teacher all the time. I substitute a class all the time. And not the class I’m assigned to. And get paid as a substitute teacher. Just because my certification isn’t as high as a teacher doesn’t mean I don’t teach and should be treated as one

Yes!! I make my own lesson plans. Lead my own groups. I build bonds with these kids just as much as their teacher does, if not more!

💯 we love them, celebrate the wins, and dry tears with the losses. Buy shoes when you realize they are so small they have holes in the toe, even blankets because they are sleeping in the car and it is cold. So maybe I'm not a real teacher..but tell my heart that.

Para’s were my saving Grace, they do not get enough credit. I did everything I could to make sure they knew how much I appreciated them. They are our right hands! 💕
