It’s your car until you release it and have accepted payment. That’s why insurance or the salvage auction calls 100 % of the time and asks, “ has car been released?”

the insurance company is the enemy, there is good and bad shops out there, but the insurance company dictates how things are repaired, do just as much research with your insurance company as the repair shop you choose!

Full paint jobs at a good shop means lots of R&I time that’s why the total if not Maaco can do it for you and peel after the first wash 😂😂😂

most policies will cover up to $1000 in accessories not on the car during the original new purchase.

> I saw this kid’s video — he left out several details. He said his insurance company gave him two options, and that’s where he made his biggest mistake. He went with the cheaper one instead of doing his research and calling around to see which shops would actually accept his insurance and do quality work. In the end, he trusted his insurance company to have his back — and they didn’t. That’s what led to the bad experience he’s now posting about.

Correct, you have to insure it for a value (with add ons) to get value for the add ons. 👍🏼👍🏼 had a custom 09 Hayabusa straight chromed out! Had to put a $20k policy on it!
