Consider yourself lucky my first company offsite they made us fly to Florida and stay in a Airbnb. Imagine having to share a room with a coworker you’ve never met in person out of state with no escape

I’m fully remote and we just had a company offsite. While it was fun to meet my coworkers, I was so tired AND MY STOMACH WAS UPSET THE WHOLE TIME. I was so unhappy.

Pro tip DoorDash some essential snacks to the hotel. It was cheaper for me to drive six hours than have a layover and get to a meeting. Whew once that meeting was over and I did the client dinner, had a short nap and left at 3 am. I missed my bed and dog too much.
