accidents like this are a choice. the city should focus on making our streets safer. raised crosswalks, grade separated bus lanes, and protected bike lanes. road calming and road diets too.

It’s insanely rare to charge a driver with murder for a case like this. Usually vehicular manslaughter, or criminally negligent homicide, or in worse cases manslaughter 2. I can’t remember another case where murder 2 was charged

The city collects 100s of millions of dollars on speed cameras “ to make streets safe “ . Then take that money and guarantee drivers like this dont drive again & pay the families who lost their loved ones.
