i hate the rear springs on my mcgaughys 10/12" it rode like a school bus. horrible ride. i ended up removing a leaf and throwing 500lb of sand in the back

Regular torsion bar drop kits are the way to go! My cognito kit compared to my FTS was a night and day ride quality difference.
