My husband was brought up with the “boys don’t wear pink” mentality. We went shopping and I picked a pink dress shirt for him for Easter to match my dress, and he wore it after side eye. After I asked if he lost any masculinity for wearing and he said of course not. Ok then 😁- he’s been buying all colors including pink ever since. Sometimes people need to hear the crazy outloud.

When my daughter was toddler to kinder age she was viking princess & catching frogs. 7yr she was full on girly/Wednesday Addams w shades of blue. She's got 2 older brothers.

Historically, both boys and girls wore both pink & blue. Although, An article titled “Pink or Blue,” published in a trade journal The Infants’ Department in 1918, said that the generally accepted rule is pink for boys and blue for girls. “The reason is that pink being a decided and stronger color is more suitable for the boy,” (Quote-CNN Health) It wasn’t until fairly recently that pink became associated with being a “girl” color & “blue” with being a boy color.

I hated pink when I was growing up bc I felt like it was pushed at me. Now I enjoy pink. Taste can change with age. And when it’s not pushed.

I used to hate pink because it seemed to be every girls favorite color. Now I can tolerate it and there are certain shades or items I will like that are pink, but I still try to stay away from it.

My 3 year old grandson’s favorite color is pink, and that is perfectly fine. I’m not going to try to convince him to like another color because he is a boy.

I don't hate pink it's just not what I like to wear. I grew up being in pageants and I also like playing outside getting dirty. She is just being a little kid.

I have never liked pink either. It's sad they are forcing it on her. I don't have brothers b y t I'm a great boy mom of 3. My youngest boy loves pink and I support it. They are just colors!

I don’t absolutely hate pink, but as far as pink clothes go, lighter pinks clash with me so I don’t wear them. I mean, I’ll grab the occasional pink thing off a shelf at a store. But my favorite color is, and always has been, any shade of blue.

time to be petty, find out something "grandparents like or do" that Prue doesn't like and only get related item to that for her. and keep going for every gift giving event with it until she gets the point and apologizes to the child.

honestly, I think the pushing of the pink on girls is the main reason why a good chunk of teenage girls will claim " they hate pink" because at the time they do hate what it represents. but when you get older that's when you can decide if you like pink or if it's just not a color you like. when I got older I never grew to like the color pink, but I no longer hate it like when I was a teen
