the main problem is that the "all games are political" people genuinely can't tell the difference between something having political themes or in-universe politics and something just having the dev's irl politics shoved into the game. That and these people tend to be extremely obnoxious about it too.

There is political influence however there is so much more in the story so I dislike when people shallow it out by only focusing on only the politics, not to mention most are scifi/fantasy universes where our politics are skewed
