Home Depot employees are not carpenters, plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc. If you need something, take what you need with you. Then find an old man, any old man, and ask him if he could help you with your problem. More than likely, he can help you. You don't ask anyone under the age of 40 anything. They are millenials and were brought up in a throwaway house unless they were raised to fix stuff like my two kids were.
