In honor of finally hitting second trimester, here is our little family video finding out we are expecting! 🤍 We did something a little different and let our 3 year old be a part of the pregnancy test result. Positive or negative, we’ve always let him be a part of the real moments in life, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. One of the sweetest things we heard recently was that littles love to have ownership of things - so we’ve been saying things like “YOUR baby” or “our baby”. He’s started saying things like, “when my little baby brother/sister gets here, I’m going to teach them how to go down the slide, and we can play together, and I’ll be so gentle.” It’s been the most precious thing to watch his mind slowly start to understand what’s going on, and for him to be able to be curious, and be met with answers to his questions with honesty, joy, and excitement. We’ve also been keeping up with baby’s growth on the what to expect app, so he can “see” the baby, what size it’s comparable to, and watch videos of each phase baby is in week-by-week. He seems to think it’s a girl… any guesses? 😉🥰 And how do we feel about the name Jesus Rains?!?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 We’re so excited, will be revealing the gender VERY SOON! Eep 🥹😍
