I did know what I was doing with the bungee cord last week… I had on my safety glasses and cheap sunglasses over them and broke both when the end opposite of the one I was trying to secure snapped me dead in the right eye. Bye bye glasses… but the eye was saved!

I am that daughter...and so is my youngest daughter 😂😂 when either of us get injured the rest of the family just shakes their heads and says "here we go again" 😂 its considered a miracle if we can both make it through a whole day without any accidents or injuries.

broke my ankle big time. my parents didn't believe me until later that night when it was too swollen for me to take off my pants. We had to wait for the swelling to go down before we could get it casted. they felt so bad.

my sister broke her leg while we were at the beach, i had to swim 50m out to call my mom and she said "she didn't break her leg she's being dramatic" and i was like "uh no, she definitely broke her leg considering I heard a crack and she's bawling her eyes out in the sand" her leg was indeed broke and that was the fastest 50m i ever swam💀💀

I once fell and sliced my eye. I was bleeding from my eye and called my mom for help. She made me send a selfie before she got in the car to pick me up because she thought I had to be joking.

When I was in elementary school my mom dismissed me when I told her my cat scratched my eye (my fault not the cat’s) and she told me to go back to bed. In the morning you could see the scratch in my eyeball and the punctures in my eyelid. Guess who saw the eye doctor that day lol

Sorry but I’m this mom haha. My daughter is always getting hurt but is sooo dramatic about it. She can fall on the softest thing, have no marks and will still cry 10 mins later. But then if she gets hit with a softball during a game she just runs it off and never has a reaction. Lol

In high school I fell down the stairs and broke my leg. The school called my mum cause we needed an ambulance & cause it costs $$$ in Aus they had to get her permission… She told them NO & that I was just being dramatic & she’d send my dad 😭😂 Thankfully when she called my dad he was like “Get the ambulance… If her legs broken I won’t be able to get her in the car!” so my mum called back & said “Oh… err better call an ambulance actually,” 😂😂 Thanks Mum 😂

Do not rinse with tap water lol if it happens to have a cut in it, tap water has a lot of bacteria that can enter. Use distilled for possible open wounds AND for netti pots when you’re sick

My son is a big cry baby. He fell down at school and his dad and I argued who has to skip work this time to get him. Even called grandma… eventually his dad went and the schooldocter advised us to go to the housedoctor just to be sure because he told us he could’n walk. He went with his dad and the docter there takes a look and called 911 (112 here) imediatly. Turned out he was a temporarely paralized from the neck down from a broken neck… since then we go to the er for every scream. Mostly for nothing but this is never again the case. I felt so bad!

(disclaimer long story incoming) I never broke or sprained anything until I was in 9th grade, we had pe and when I jumped up to catch a ball I twisted my ankle when landing the teacher wanted to call an ambulance but I said no and then she said "okay then you can keep playing" at that point I couldn't really walk anymore so I went to the changing room with a friend and called my mom, she picked me up and we went to the hospital, turns out my ankle was sprained and I couldn't go to school for like a week that time but since I never really injured myself that badly before my mom believed me when I said that I couldn't walk correctly anymore

my mum used to always get calls from my school that I was injured almost every day anytime I went out to play I came back hurt, I now have my karma and have a son who is almost as accident prone as I was

Yup. I once was trimming a tree and looked up at the branch as it fell into my eye… I got a good scratch on the cornea. Hope you heal fast!
