No but seriously. Your favorite creators don’t want to date you. Creators are real breathing human beings with wants, needs, histories and struggles. And also so many big creators deliberately try to cultivate parasocial relationships with their audiences because it makes people give them more money. And like even if any given big creator enjoys/can handle a certain type of attention encouraging it on their content causes it to bleed over onto other people.

Couldn't agree more. Parasocialism itself isn't bad (in the way you want people to be able to connect with your content and feel something) but, some people can take it to far. That's why having those healthy boundaries and making them clear is one of the pillars of building a great community.
