Everyone doesn’t mention how the Los Angeles Basin and surrounding valleys can support a lot of populations without destructive fires if the rivers and creeks across LA were never channelized. This caused desertification of the Los Angeles Basin and surrounding valleys. Nobody ever mentions this and it always gets passed up like a footnote when it’s a major tipping point in the drought story.
