I work as a student worker for the IT department in my school, while I’m sure it’s different from other commercial companies and home usage, we may not seem like we do much, but it is essential things that we do. Without us, there’s so many issues that would go unresolved and the school would not function properly. (Also were the other half of the maintenance team so-)

computer bluescreens, user cant work, tell them to bring their pc to us as we cant' fix it remorely user: what?! i cant work without my pc! me: well, as your pc doesn't work now, you wouldnt be able to work wether you bring it here or not. the sooner you bring it here, sooner it will be fixed. user: fine! also user: *brings in the computer 3 weeks later*
