As someone who grew up with an abusive father. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. My greatest fear is going through abuse again esp in a marriage. May Allah bring everyone justice and peace that’s going through this.

The problem with our community is that they think they can heal mental illness with marriage. His family was most likely aware and thought this was a great ideas. This culture needs to stop. Some girls back home have no choice.
