Relatable. As a 29 year old, I sit back and reflect on my upbringing and realise the tough love my dad gave to me is what taught me independence. Slowly I learnt to forgive him even though sometimes I wish he’d have been a little bit less tough

My mother who almost to beat to death and continued to look for the biggest knife in the drawer. I was saved by my stepdad. The fact that she was willing to go to jail for me it’s a hard pill to swallow. Even as an adult she abuse me. Cut her off. I am 43 and she refuse to tell me about my father. I asked God to forgive her and leave me out of it. He created her so he must deal with her. I can’t stand her!

Definitely my father. Dude disowned me at three months, well he was a teenager, but, he never bothered to come back and look for his son. Really? Was I that much of a distraction in his life? I don't think I can forgive him. I'm in my 30s, I don't know what he looks like.

I think fathers are the one’s we have the harsh journey with because they are to reflect the relationship we have or are to have with God! They are meant to be our God on earth ! That feeling when you feel like God is not showing up , it becomes worse with a dad because you can see them and still not really experience them well ! My thoughts !!!!
