To my friends who want to be SAHMs I always tell them “get your purse first!” Do NOT give up career experience for a husband, kids sure but make sure you can financially take care of them because divorce isn’t the only thing that can make you a single mom.. death happens too.

Oh, I know it man. I was married at 19 had three babies by the time I was 26 and got divorced. Left my husband when I was 27 had no way to support myself or pay for the divorce. My dad had to take out of his 401(k) to pay for my divorce when my ex-husband tried to take my kids from me. Then I went to college. While raising three young boys. I didn’t graduate until 2012 so all I do is try to tell these ladies not to do what I did

Amen!! I didn’t get married until mid 20’s and didn’t have babies until my 30’s. My choice, my decision. This is what worked best for me. But you need to find what works best for you! ❤️
