WAIT, why did i not realize you lived on nantucket. I always thought you were just somewhere on the Cape. I used to work over there all the time on the off season! Crazy how many people dont realize that the island isnt there as a tourist attraction 😂

I had that exact convo on vaca at Disney in pool when i was like 10 prob 1983 ish, girl I was playing w/ Dad asked where i was from & said Cape Cod. he didn’t believe I lived there yr round. I had no idea then ppl thought it closed I was so confused by he didn’t believe me.

I always assume the people that live in popular summer areas year round are just like those that live in popular wintery spots- REALLY happy when the tourist season is over and they get back to the norm of it all.
