If you visit Lower Manhattan, I strongly recommend you stop by the Federal Hall Memorial Museum. The Federal Hall Memorial Museum is FREE and contains many treasures of American history, especially those around the founding of our country. One of their staple exhibits is about John Peter Zenger, whose trial, which planted the seed for the Freedom of the Press in the US, took place where the current building is today.
