had a vaguely similar thing happen, my doc referred me to a specialist, that specialist called me and said "hey girlie we are closing in 4 weeks, there's no point in you doing this appointment" so I called my doctor back and my doctor was like "well why didn't they tell me that?!?" and I was like, idk doc, don't shoot the messenger. and then she said she'd send me to someone else and I've never heard back about it since 😁

the pharmacy that filled my prescriptions closed with no warning. I showed up to locked doors and no ability to transfer the meds 🙃 thank gawd they weren't life saving

similar thing happened to me once. my doctor prescribed a medication, then I never heard back about the Very Important three-month follow up. or the six-month one. turns out the doctor quit and moved away!

please tell me it wasn't tennesee orthopedics...I've had my own issues trying to get ahold of them and none of the offices I've been trying to contact closed...and one of their Dr's literally just did my knee surgery today (didn't have a chance to transfer providers and the surgeon was great...it was the office staff I've had issues communicating with)

me when I was trying to get in contact with the office of the specialist who diagnosed me with hEDS 8 years ago for disability purposes. I knew she retired 6 years ago, but I didn’t know that the office was literally DEMOLISHED FOR A PARKING GARAGE TWO YEARS AGO???

literally me when I needed a medically referral to get hand controls in my car. 99% sure a nurse "accidentally" signed for a doctor after a year of me emailing and calling
