I bought one and ran it off a battery. it melted where the battery cables plug into the AC.

It was very humide last night sleeping in my suv with my rear windows down covered with a screen. Nice setup for a roof top tent i would need an exhaust tube for the rear ....very cool for two hundred bucks...

What power source are you running it off of? I currently use an icybreeze for my RTT and run it off the battery it came with and the 12v plug in a Goal Zero Yeti

I think it would work better if the entire front half was in the tent so it could pull out the return air through the coil. instead of hot outside air
