The revolution from the American side was essentially a holy crusade. The idea that is was a deist endeavor is ridiculous. No one was willing to get stabbed in the belly with a bayonet over a watch. They did it for Christ.

I walked away from organized religion many many years ago. You are sir are the type of Christian who might get me back into a church. Nah I prefer nature to a building. But it would be nice to have more people like you in politics.
