I live in Florida and there are deadly wrong way collisions all the time bc tourists and drunk ppl get on bridges going the wrong way. It just happened again this past weekend. I will never take a bridge at night here. It adds about 20 more minutes drive to go all the way around. idc. i blame lack of clear signage and warnings. call the Maine DOT and report it. so glad you were OK!
